STORY: BJ Boston Named EYBL Dallas Most Valuable Player
The 6-foot-7 wing Brandon Boston Jr. played his best basketball this past weekend in Dallas, Texas, leading the Running Rebels to a 4-1 overall session record and punching their ticket into the 2019 Nike Peach Jam field. Boston Jr. averaged 27.6 points per game in their five games in Texas. He continues to prove why he is one of the best shooters in his class by shooting an extremely high percentage from beyond the arc. Being able to move without the ball, finishing in transition, and being quick off the floor are a few other attributes Brandon showcased during AOT’s five-game run.

Team Durant went 5-0 in Dallas, and the success wouldn't have been possible without the contributions from Earl Timberlake Jr. The 6-foot-6 swingman averaged a double-double for Team Durant, and his ability to rebound is head and shoulders above most other guards on the circuit. Timberlake shot 6-for-13 from the perimeter, and his aggressiveness was on display, evidenced by his 37 free throw attempts. Team Durant implements a guard-heavy lineup, so Timberlake's rebounding and toughness are especially important to their success. Durant will enter the Peach Jam as one of the hottest teams in the country, and Timberlake should continue to lift his stock in July.

Cade Cunningham is on another level. The 6-foot-7 point-forward continued his outstanding production while defending home turf in Dallas, averaging 29 points per game on 57.1 percent shooting. Cunningham tallied 26 rebounds and 17 assists in four games, and he displayed one of the most versatile floor games of any player in the 2020 class. Cunningham saved his best for last, putting up 35 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a win over No. 5 Mac Irvin. The Titans' star shot 11-for-17 from the field and 12-for-16 from the free throw line in the win. Cunningham will enter July as the pre-tournament favorite to win Peach Jam MVP, and the Titans will undoubtedly be the team to beat.

If you're a fan of versatility, look no further than Phenom's Jalen Johnson. The 6-foot-9 point forward played terrific all weekend, averaging 19.2 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists over five games. Johnson put up 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists in the season finale, helping Phenom to a two-point overtime win over Vegas Elite. With seconds remaining, Johnson dropped his final assist to Carter Gilmore and Phenom walked away with a huge win in a razor-close victory. Johnson is a ton of fun to watch, and frankly, there isn't anything on the court that he can't do with efficiency. With him in the rotation, Phenom will be a favorite to advance to Peach Jam bracket play.

Story: Cam Thomas Named EYBL Dallas Offensive Player of the Session
Cam Thomas put on an incredible display once again and proving to the nation why he is considered a top-5 pure scorer in his class. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard finished the 2019 Nike EYBL regular season as the scoring champ at 29.5 points per game. Thomas is a prolific scorer and has that scoring versatility you need in that shooting guard position. He is an all-level scorer and can just flat out score in bunches whenever he pleases. Cam is certainly at the top of the list for this year’s Nike EYBL’s most valuable player award.
